Indonesian Overseas Conference 2024

The Indonesian Overseas Conference brought together representatives of Indonesian diaspora organisations from Australia, Japan, the United States, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, and other countries.

The conference provided an important forum for strengthening relationships, exchanging ideas, and exploring how Indonesian communities around the world could collaborate more closely while maintaining their Islamic values and Indonesian cultural identity.

A major outcome of the conference was the Declaration of Istanbul, through which participating organisations expressed their agreement and support for the establishment of a common platform to strengthen cooperation, coordination, and collective initiatives across countries.

This shared commitment became an important milestone in the journey toward building a more connected and collaborative global Indonesian diaspora network.
